I would really like to see Fulmer stop missing way up and in like that. I'm a little worried that it's a canary in the coal mine for an injury

Fulmer’s stuff looks decent minus that awful changeup.  If he can find the plate, he may have a chance to be a reliever.

If Carson can get that cutter under control and hit the outside edge against righties he might end up useful. He's getting swings and misses on it but they aren't in the strike zone.

jason is improving but at times he needs a shock collar.

Fulmer looked real good. 

That cutter is a seriously nasty pitch. Hope he can spot it up and realize he should be throwing it about 50% of the time

Always worse when you know the guy has a history. With all the injuries he's dealt with you know part of his reaction is just the emotional part of confronting what feels like yet another serious injury

Frankly I despise the word headcase applied to any pitcher. It's not an easy game. and those who struggle are just searching for what works best for them against the best hitters in the world.

Fulmer looked very impressive. That stuff was electric.

He reached my goal this appearance to get the ERA under 5.50. I guess Renteria took him out with a small amount of success rather than have him finish the game as I preferred.
