Nice to see Fry back on track. They need one more late inning guy. Hopefully it is Burdi or Hamilton. Move Eloy to first, after a number of games in the outfield in the minor leagues he still looks very, very lost. He's as bad and as much of a health risk to himself right now as Delmonico. I'm just happy that Lopez' who had a brilliant game today wasn't hurt worse or perhaps lost it because of an unearned run. Sox scored just enough before he left the game to ensure he wouldn't get screwed like Chris Sale did so many times. Sale would throw a two or three hitter, strike out 12 and lose 2-1 or something like that. Jose is staying hot as well which is very good because Eloy is going to be on the shelf for awhile. Not so sure I’d throw a big contract at a sub-.800 career OPS 29 year old left fielder but there aren’t many good free agent options left after they all extended. I do like this idea over keeping Abreu around and leaving Eloy in LF.
