  • Never mind. At least, to this point, Manny doesn't make me want to break things.

  • McCann has been a pleasant surprise so far. A good Rick Hahn signing.

Come on Benetti. There was no chance they walked him when it was 1-2 lol.

Yea I was literally face palming when he said that and even Stone kind of agreeing with him at first.

Banuelos also nibbles way too much.

nasty pitch.

Eh, Ump is helping, I dont mind it. He's getting the swings and misses.

This approach probably wouldn't work on an ump with a tighter zone.

Baby Quintana pitching well!

His stuff is fine. It's not great or "good." Slider doesnt have a ton of depth but has some late bite. Fastball is straight and not very hard or heavy. Curveball is a nice change of pace but it's not great by any means. A show me pitch kind of.

Look at how the hitters react to it. They miss his breaking stuff a ton. He doesn't have anything ++ , but they're all above average.

He's fine. Him being a #5 would be a success story.

He is facing the Orioles. Let's not get ahead of ourselves

Means dropping the huge F bomb walking Engel (I would too).

It wasn't just the O's. I was at a game he pitched in the 1st homestand he did fine.

Who wouldn't?

Ray Ray, I think of a 5th starter as someone who is always replaceable and straddles the line between being an MLB player and DFA worthy. I think Banuelos has more upside than that.

B2b lead off walks with a 4-1 lead is just unacceptable.

Maybe next time he'll place it on the ground. ?

This defense is awful.  Can we move Yoan back to 2nd where his throwing issues are less relevant?

Oy.

Lol sometimes all you can do is shake your head. That was so bad.

Defense continues too suck

This damn defense is so bad

Yikes
