Did the Sox suddenly get a new owner? Cole ain't happening. Dude is going to want guaranteed $ not some incentive laden nonsense the Sox will offer him.  We will get Wacha or Alex Wood.

Yea, a guy who acts in a professional manner instead of a showboating clown is a real clubhouse cancer.

I'm just glad you're a fan and not an actual decision maker for the team.  How does it not matter if they are literal black holes in the lineup batting .040 or .120?  How is it beneficial for their de

I was going to say if they're going to play Alonso, you might as well get the most value out of him and play him at 1B.

Wow Kyyle what about mine!?!? :chair

Alonso batting fourth again. Why. serious question - does Ken Williams or Rick Hahn look at these lineups and wonder if their manager has a brain?

"Where should I bat Timmy?"

"Probably 4th at this point."

Stares at Anderson

"Ricky, can you hear me?"

Sees #7

"That's it."

"Lonzy is a veteran.  We just need to keep plugging him in out there.  He's a clean up hitter. He's our clean up hitter.  He's been having some great at bats lately.  Seeing some pitches.  Working some count.  Real professional.  We love Zo."

-Ricky, most likely

Alonso is .136/.211/.258/.469 in his last 17 games. That’s Royce Clayton/Adam Dunn territory.

At least Dunn always took his walks.  Even when he hit .159 that season in 500 PAs, his OBP was .292.

I've seen this on MLB.com twice: Manny B. says that he was tipping his pitches the second time through the order against Boston, implying that's why he was hit so hard.

Do you think that's true? I sort of believe it. It seems so strange to me that someone could have such good success and then everything completely fall apart. It seems like there has to be some reason how things could so quickly change so completely.

Ramirez is a top 4 hitter in this league, tip your hat.

Challenging Ramirez to not have to pitch to Santana and treating them like equally dangerous

hitters is probably the dumbest thing Ricky has said this season.

I really don't like Jason Kipnis

It was, but it was center cut.

Would you prefer Meatball was KILT?

Yes, because that is more accurate.

Well, yeah

banuelos is just bad.

fits right in.

Oof

Shit, now Banuelos sucks. The Sox have a serious shortage of MLB pitching in 2019.

Wait, he’s not the next Arrieta?

How one inning killed a pitcher’s career

Coop sure takes his sweet time to make a mound visit when his pitcher is clearly falling apart.
