2019 MLB All Star Game

Featured Replies

I realize that the MLB All Star Game is still a few weeks away but as of now the White Sox have as many as 6 players who could make the All Star team. Giolito, Colome, Mc Cann, Abreu, Anderson and Moncada could be picked for the team.  If these 6 keep performing well it will be interesting to see who goes to the All Star Game.

Right now. Giolito and Moncada are locks. Eloy and Abreu may make it also. Forget McCann and Colome. Anderson also might make it.

Eloy?  Dude, c’mon.

Colome has a really good chance too. Moncada won't make it because of Bregman and Devers. Boston guys are a shoe in.

The man has six home runs. If he can stay healthy the next five weeks he could have a lot of HRs and RBIs by the time they pick the reserves.

Moncada won’t make it. Giolito should. McCann has a chance- who are the AL catchers ahead of him? My prediction is Giolito, McCann, and one of Anderson or Abreu. Too many good closers for Colomé sadly but he deserves it.

Giolito, Jose and Anderson. Jose will start.

I can't remember the last time a White Sox pitcher with such low expectation went on this type of run. Two runs allowed in last 28 IP and ERA down to 2.77.

Agreed. Anderson might even start due to his new popularity nationwide

Eloy has 0 chance.

You could make an argument for Abreu, Gio, McCann, Yo, and maybe Tim.

2008 with both Danks and Floyd comes to mind

Eloy Jimenez will be the starting catcher on the allstar team

Esteban Loaiza probably

Not sure if McCann has enough PA's to be considered.

I would say Giolito for sure if he keeps this up and maybe Abreu cause of how weak the 1B position is.

Only if he beats out TA7 for the spot.

More guys are deserving, but I would think Giolito and Abreu will make it.  Tim could possibly make it with the attention he's gotten this year.

With the new voting format, some guys who are more deserving could make it over the fan favorites from Boston, NYY, Cubs, etc.

There is a players’ vote for all the reserves so that may help us.

My guess is Giolito & McCann make it and Tim wins the 25th man vote.

Maybe, but I think it would hurt us if anything
