I agree with Jason here. It wasn't intentional but this is what you do to yourself when you play beanball.

Crap!  Moncada was robbed.

One of the reasons it’s been explained to us why Renteria was selected to manage the Sox through the so-called rebuild was because of his ability to develop young players at the Major League level.  Not quite sure how effective a development opportunity it was for Lopez to stay in against those extra four hitters.  If anything, it was an adverse experience for the young man tonight, win or no win.

Ricky does it again.  Herrera in game

Even kids on the playground or in gym class assemble their batting orders by putting the best hitters up in the first group, followed by the lesser hitters.

TA7@7 is baffling, and I’m an apologist

In general I don't hate Ricky like some do.  But once or twice a week he does something really hard to take.  When a manager seemingly doesn't see the obvious it's not easy to remain neutral.

Jose 50% k- rate the last 5 games or so... he is still running into one here and there and driving in runs.

But he looks shitty lately.

Eh, I don't have a problem with this.

Ricky better have a short leash ready for a riggings here if it gets outa hand

seen all I need to re: Lopez

Kelvin Herrera has been just terrible.

Bring back Minaya.

Walking Maldonado is like walking Adam Engel.

It would be interesting if the FO brought in a Joe Gerardi.   See how the team would react to tough love.

Why not Bummer here? Herrera is fucking trash

Stone blasting Herrera there.

Yikes

No one is even warming up

That was a terrible bunt. Still didn't get the out. ?

I don't think Herrera is close to 100%, and then he treats Hamilton like he's Paul Konerko.  He's been so freaking bad this month.

jesus christ.

Royals top of the order coming up to bat with no outs and the winning run at the plate. Who saw that coming with the guy with a 6.97 ERA? Maybe we should sub him out bc he can’t pitch a strike? Nah keep him in- who needs to even warm up in the pen?

Herrera has been awful for weeks. Marshall and Bummer have actually been good, they need more chances

Live look at Rick Renteria:

Just a crazy idea; Why not ease Herrera back in into low leverage situations until he proves he can get anybody out?
