I missed his excellent start a month ago, where he struck out 14 over six innings. How did that happen? Doesn’t seem possible with how he’s looked lately. Was his slider working that day?

His stuff honestly didn't look THAT amazing that day, though he had command of his fastball. Main thing was just he was playing against Detroit. FWIW Fry, Herrera, and Colome all had 2Ks in an IP each too

I agree with Jason here. It wasn't intentional but this is what you do to yourself when you play beanball.

This pitcher looks like Borat, lmao..

The Indians put up 14 against Boston tonight. They are our next opponent.

So..... that was a BS ejection right? Clearly an accident IMO

Accident or no, total coincidence or not, nipping it in the bud instantly was the right thing to do IMO.

Eloy showing some wheels!

Sanchez base hit!  3-1!

Accidental if you believe in the tooth fairy.

1 on, nobody out, and you think Sparkman threw a changeup at Anderson's head on the second pitch on purpose?

Pitcher looked at his hand after delivering. Don't think it was intentional, and so it is a good thing Anderson didn't react no matter how pissed he was.

Fair enough: My problem (and this is me reading into the situation) is that I only think the ump threw the pitcher out because it caught Anderson in the head. But I agree, you don't want to let it spiral out of control.

Royals announcers now butthurt about that slide.

Why don't those accidents happen when throwing to Alonso?

With first base open yes. This was his 1st at bat since the whole shindig right? Odds of him getting hit there are like 0. Change up gave Sparkman plausible deniability.

That dude Sparkman is pitching tonight for a spot in the rotation next time through.  There is zero fucking chance he intentionally hit TA there with a changeup.

The Royals best hitter nearly got hit in the head.  Royals sent a message.  The changeup was so no one gets killed.

Some of Moncada's takes on nasty breaking balls with two strikes are (dare I say it?) Frank esque.

Moncada gets screwed of a strikeout again.

That was some bullshit.

What are you supposed to hit that with? A golf club?

That was not a fucking strike.  Goddamn.

Good lord Jose WTF was that?
