Which would make Lopez and Rodon (when he returns) the best #4 and #5 starters in the AL which means they could win a ton of games.

It's not just him.  A lot of these guys are like that. I swear if you were able to take a brain scan of some of these guys at the plate, you would get "crickets".  No awareness of count advantage , game situation, what's working/not working for the pitcher, etc.

It's " see ball, try to hit ball".

The first of what should be many great duels between Giolito and Plesac in the years to come!
