I hate him being psyched out by the Cub. Not worth it. 

The unfortunate part is we carry  3 pitcher type automatic outs in our lineup on offense.  

Making up runs tonight will be difficult.  

 

I like the guy, but White Sox Dave is the kiss of death for Sox players

He’s fucking terrified of Clark.

He's been pretty much untouchable for a loooong stretch. This was due. Let's see how he bounces back...wether the next few innings, or the next game. It's only the 1st inning and he's earned a bit of trust.

Wow, must be cold, I could see Gio's breath after Cooper left the mound.

Hasn't he complained in the past that he has trouble gripping the ball in the cold? Or was it ReyLo who struggles in chilly weather?

Is it me or is Lucas shaking out there? Not trying to make excuses but a Cali kid pitching in the freezing cold isn’t ideal. This weather sucks. 

This is going to be a 35 pitch inning, that's worse than being 4-1 IMO.

Go watch ball 2 to Bote. That looked completely different than his other pitches. Look at his body there at the end compared to strike 1 to Lester

For some reason I absolutely hate Willson Contreras. It isn't the bat flips or anything, he just seems like a general jerkoff.

There could be something to what soxfan49 is saying. Giolito's velocity is down tonight. No 96-97s like we had become used to. He's topping out at 95 tonight.

Another characteristic of being an ace is to not let this game get away from you.  It’s the first inning and we’re only down four.  Shut it down now and let your offense spend eight innings getting those runs and more back.

He doesn’t know anything these days.  Whatever sources he had have gone AWOL.  Dude was saying all offseason that Machado was as good as a Sox.

It‘s the first inning, and fluctuations like that are completely normal. Armchair analysts always crack me up.
