  • If the Sox win these last 3 games before the ASB, they will have a better record than the Cubs. With the current make-up of the respective 25 player rosters,  that's stunning. It's also tell

Sox were 7-7 against the Cubs, Twins, Indians, Yankees, and Red Sox in the month of June. It’s not like they’re only beating bad teams at this point, they’re playing toe to toe with likely playoff tea

  • This place is weird. The Sox had a huge day yesterday and the game thread today actually has conversation about the Cubs.

Shit Moncada was all over that 1st pitch fastball and just missed it.

Ugly game for Moncada.  Hopefully Abreu can make up for it here.

what a horrible game for moncada.  jesus.

Need this run

Just take the walk

Is moncada not seeing the ball?

how many 93 mph fastballs have our guys swung through?  2 dozen?  three dozen?

Give some credit to Boyd he is striking out everybody this year

No Boyd has awesome stuff today. That last pitch to Moncada was a strike he just missed it. His fastball is electric. Everyone is late on it.

Frustrating game to say the least.

Fuuuuuuuuuug.  Too many runners left on.

his stuff looks pretty hittable the third time through.  our guys are swinging for the fences every time up instead of just putting it in play.  he's throwing 93 not 98.

Boyd has been great this year.  Just certain guys that players can't see the ball out of.  Boyd is one of those for Moncada and Abreu it looks like.

He swung through that pretty bad.  I'm not upset this kind of stuff happens . he did have a good game last night.

Velocity doesn't mean everything.  Spin rate, arm slot, mixing pitches.

Yeah, the dude doesn't know what he's talking about.

I'm in left field behind where Eloy made that catch. Can someone tell me what is up with YoYo? He looks awful up there. Is he getting breaking balls or something?

not reading the ball out of Boyd's hand, late on fastballs

Is Lopez tipping his pitches? I can't explain why hitters are on everything this year. Whatever he was doing last August and September he needs to go back to that. Get in the video room with Coop.

Reynaldo really gives away his curve with his motion, as evidenced by Stewart hitting that thing an inch off the ground
