Leury made that play alot harder than it should've been. 

At least the offense is keeping it close. 

 

Semien and Phegley, Bassitt and Ravelo for Jeff Samardzija and Ynoa. I'd say A's win that trade.

I don't know. That ball was hit pretty hard and he was playing at little league depth.

That's why I want Abreu to get paid over market value. Sox have wasted a lot of cash on bad players the last many years. The guys who actually can play a bit might as well take some of Jerry's haul.

On Semien alone. Much less Phegley and Bassit who have been respectable.

I think that's fair. 

Situations like this are why it's baffling Moncada doesn't run (unless it's a 3-2 count with 2 outs). Pitcher with a slow ass delivery and Phegley isn't actually Willson Contreras back there. Yet he doesn't.
