one of those outings where lucas doesn't have his best stuff but looks like he's learning how to pitch, this is what you wanna see from him

for the most part he's had great command and that continued in that inning.  But yea it's a little harder sitting at 92-93 than 96-97.

ugh, of course all their hits are to the opposite field

They should get someone in the pen in case Giolito struggles in the 7th.

jose looks like he tweaked his hammy.

gross, james first pitch swinging and not pulling abreu for a PR in a 0-0 game in the 7th?

I think he slid like an asshole and probably scraped his left leg badly. Let's hope I'm right

Frustrating, but what does anyone expect with this shit lineup?

Keep pulling the ball guys

It's crazy when you look at the lineup and see just how little power this lineup has from 5-9.  Would love to know the last time an AL team had such little power from the 5-9 spots in their lineup on July 20th of a season.

Their approach tonight is just embarrassingly bad.

How many teams pull one of their best hitters, in a lineup not that deep I have to add, for pinch runners in the 7th?

Haha, quite fitting.  Hahn sucks

Fuck. Ballgame.

Yep. We need Tim and Eloy back.

The presence of Avi is much scarier when he's on the other side.  Didn't like seeing him in the on deck.

^^^

The way this game is going that's probably enough.  F--k!!

‘Twas inevitable.  This has to be one of the worst lineups in Sox history.

That's one of the longest homers I've seen at that park.

Abreu's not going to be happy

Yet another whiff on the FA market for Hahn.

He dumped Avisail to sign Jon Jay for more guaranteed money.  Embarrassing.

That ball hit one of those pennants? That's practically in Clearwater

Avi showed Hahn.

Indeed.  I can’t wait until Hahn has to make more FA decisions next offseason.
