You'd have to think this is the last guy for Gio.

Great use of the high fastball by Giolito tonight.  Didn't have anywhere near his best changeup, but he still dominated.

Hopefully that puts Giolito back on track. He had some rough starts but that was a really good one against a good team.

Yup. 9 K.

Indeed.  I can’t wait until Hahn has to make more FA decisions next offseason.

Really I can’t wait until he doesn’t have that opportunity.

So far I have found Engel's at bats to be the most entertaining.  That's probably not good.

Giolito is for real. Now if Reynaldo’s turn around is for real, you got to feel real good

That's one of the longest homers I've seen at that park.

Same, Moncada is usually the most fun to watch but he looks mesmerized tonight

Yet they're saying it was only 438 feet

Unless the offense surprises me gio going to be tough luck loser tonight.

It's all I care about, along with Cease, Anderson, Eloy, Moncada.

Fortunately the result is not as important as the quality of the start.  I would have preferred the W for him as well.

Avi hit an absolute moonshot. Landed across the gulf in south Texas.

Goins wears #17? They didn't retire that for Erstad I take it?

That's gonna get when sanchez isn't on the sox !

I agree! really happy with the start he had tonight.

That was not a competitive at bat by Leury

Oy.

Thanks Garcia.  Quality at bat!

Gio looked good again thats all that really matters.  Hopefully he can go on a mini run again.

Has anyone seen specifics on when Timmy and Eloy are expected back.  We need them desperately.

Oh my god, please get a new first baseman.

Rebuilds are fun.
