Then they must hide the juiced balls when our guys come to bat.

Or the coaches are too stubborn to preach launch angle. You can’t tell me the Twins or Astros wouldn’t excel at getting Eloy to elevate instead of pounding the ball into the ground.

  • Bunting in the first inning with Detwiler facing the most powerful team of all time.

  • Tim’s just making baseball less boring. His errors make it exciting for the other team.

  • Well at least Detwiler might have a future pitching in the home run derby

Amazing that Castillo is going to stay on the roster all season.

I'd worry he'll be there next season.  Anyone know the Sox record when he is behind the plate?

It’s beyond awful, but I’m confident he won’t be back.

I hope your right.  We owe Alonso an apology.

150 years of baseball and no one has ever thought about hitting the ball out in front of the plate.  Shut the hell up, Bennetti.  He's getting more annoying by the day.

Jesus that's a terrible strike call.

Bullshit call by the umpire, but it must be nice to have catchers try to frame. Castillo wasn’t even trying last inning.

Tim hit a slider.  It was a double.

Tim is great hitting the slider.

Launch angles have to do with home runs correct? How many homers do you think is a reasonable number someone will hit? Eloy is in his first year and will be better next season just like Yian improved. Eloy does have 22 homers and is a  line drive hitter.

Hate to tell you bro.. but coming in Tim Anderson had a negative dwar raiting.

Before tonight.. Tim makes some flashy plays sometimes - but overall he is a poor defensive shortstop.

There isn’t anything wrong with Tim that experience and hard work can’t correct

They said the same thing about Lee Bee Bee Richard. ?

There's no reason for him to be here right now along with about half a dozen other awful veterans.  This is a dog and pony show.

I have an irrational dislike of Castillo.

No I'd say its rational.

Only Yolmer and Engel are working on launch angle. Eloy can't even bunt.

I hope he catches every game left this season. Hopefully he'll help us land the 7-8 spot in next years draft. While we're on the subject. Is

every one else happy to know, we never have to root for losses again after this September?
