Eloy gotta charge that harder

Of course.

At least the Bears’ result is distracting from this debacle.

YESTERDAY GAME:

SEATTLE — Major League Baseball has expressed “regret” over a miscommunication that resulted in a 2-1 loss for the Chicago White Sox against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday night.

Seattle’s Omar Narvaez hit a ball off the top of the wall in the bottom of the 10th inning that was ruled a home run by umpires. The ball did not clear the fence, and had a replay review been conducted, Narvaez would have been awarded a double and the game would have continued tied at 1.

“In last night’s game there was conversation between the umpires and the White Sox as to the procedure for potentially reviewing two different aspects of the game-ending play,” MLB said in a statement Sunday. “There was then a misinterpretation regarding Chicago’s desire to have any aspect of the play reviewed. We regret that this miscommunication resulted in not reviewing the home run call on the field.”

Dear god, the coaching staff is a disgrace. It was obvious but they just kept their head up their ass and walked into the clubhouse.

Watched the replay.  Jimenez should be playing a bit shallower on Smith, no way he doesn’t catch that ball if he commits right off the bat.  Playing too hesitantly for that situation.

Ricky was asked about the home plate call and said no. Then apparently everyone walked away.

Eloy is such a tentative fielder. He's obviously playing afraid. I'm much more concerned that his throwing arm is almost as bad as his actual fielding.

Yep they gave the safe call with regards to Omar touching home and dumbass Ricky just walked off.

Abreu golden sombrero. Celebrate

Well, that's sucky. The teams should still be playing, in theory.

Jose been great lately.. but still swings at some of the worst pitches.

Lol cordell

Renteria has no business coming back

And now Ruiz has to throw the ball over the plate

Cordell screwed up. Stuff happens. Hopefully someday at this stage of the season I'll be furious at such a blunder. Now ... who cares? Just another loss. I don't even get mad at Sox-Cubs or Sox-Royals losses anymore. The front office got me used to it.

Benetti: "Intentionally walking him means Ruiz needs to throw strikes..." lolol

Ruiz looks like someone just murdered his dog...

You all know it's a tank game when Ruiz is called in to pitch in a big situation.
