it's all over twitter when you search Jose Abreu and sort by latest.  Veracity of sources is questionable however.

    If it is a 3y deal, i'd assume the 3rd year is an option, I said 3/38, and if it went to 3/40, close enough.  $13.33MM/yr for Abreu is not bad whatsoever.

    Looks more like someone trying to break a story based off speculation (Bruce Levine reporting 3 year offer).

    Its unnecessary though.  I am not going to worry about it until we get a real answer though.  

    My God, 3 years would be fucking terrible.
