God forbid we can have even one legit LHH in the lineup.

Why are we starting that pitcher?

Cause this game doesn't matter

He might be on the borderline for the 30 man roster and maybe they want to see if he sinks or swims.

Because this is an exhibition game setting the rotation for start of the season matters far more.

Because it's spring training still.

Yeah but we have a lot of young pitchers I'd rather see pitch than a guy who has no future here.

I hope we brought the crosstown cup with us

Maybe, but is he really a 30 man guy?

If Drew Anderson's a 30 man guy for anything but the 2nd swing man for the last spot of the bullpen, we're in trouble.

Also, for those no tuning in until now, what are the top headlines from summer camp?

Besides Moncada being out and the battle for 2B between Mendick/Garcia/Madrigal?

What happened to Rutherford/Adolfo/Gonzalez?

Does Collins have a legit chance at making the team?  Yermin?

Which bullpen guys have stood out the most (noticed Herrera was up to his usual tricks the other day)?

I dont believe so, but perhaps they need to fill a few pitching spots in the beginning for a week or so in order to keep Heuer and Dunning down for service time.

Dunning is pushing 26. He might already be. They don't need to play service time games with him. He needs to get innings in.

Who is pitching for Cubs? For betting purposes ?

I agree but service time seems to be priority one for them.

Hendricks

This feels good to watch, though I would prefer better fake crowd noise

Good AB from TA.

I can’t express how gross I find those ugly blue uniforms
