This is the ideal usage for Ross Detwiler.

lol there goes Detwiler's streak.

Actually a nice little story that he had to hold back tears because he had reached his dream.

16 straight retired for Detwiler out of the pen.

Is that right?  The longest such bullpen streak for the White Sox prior to that was Gary Glover in 2001?

I think it would be safer from a COVID perspective if we just played the Royals every day for the rest of the season

I always root for org guys like Mendick and Yermin. They had to prove doubters wrong for years to get their shot

Or when they were referred to as "prospects" like Jerry Owens, Andy Gonzalez and Josh Fields.

6-4-3!

Detwiler has faced the minimum through 6.

Bobby Jenks. Buehrle broke his record after he retired like the first 18 after his perfect game.

They need more opportunities to compare Chicago and KC steakhouses and BBQ joints.

Of course, Kansas Citians think of Cheesecake Factory and Ruth's Chris as elegant, so pretty sure Chicago wins that argument.    Well, the steaks, not BBQ.

Thanks for the blowout boys....I think Soxtalk needed a break from another Colome save opportunity. :)

Well, Tatis, Robert, Semien, Abreu, Quentin, Sale, Quintana and Eaton aren't bad.

A mid-first round pick and a sandwich pick not panning out is not the indictment you think it is though

Not arguing about Madrigal's "lack of hitting ability" was the most refreshing aspect of this game.

We did all this damage today without much of anything from EE, Moncada and Jimenez.

DICKMAN

Madrigal has a chance for 5 hits here

REVIEW THAT SHIT

Damn shoulda been a 5th hit.

There’s that mediocre speed :)

Madrigal is so freaking slow. Can't even beat out Salvador Perez there.

Was really expecting Madrigal to dive for the bag, but getting crushed by Perez in that situation would have been idiotic.

That was real close at 1st.

Seemed he beat him to the bag

You guys don't get it. Madrigal is unconventional in modern baseball. I want him to succeed, I really do.

They're going to adjust to him and bring the RF in really shallow. Gonna be interesting to see what happens then.
