Would be great if he could become something useful.  I was super high on Hamilton before the cursed season.

Heuer definitely has taken the leap from that righty relief group. Would be awesome for Hamilton, Burdi or Johnson to also be useful.

Eloy is a bad LF, but everyone already knew this.  How about Renteria allowing Gonzalez to face a lineup three times?!?! How about Renteria allowing Gonzalez to face a lineup three times wit

Really need to start seeing something out of Collins. If he can start to hit it really helps define the 2021-23 catcher setup for the team.

I think I could say with certainty that Abreu is the least of their concerns right now. Encarnacion and McCann are gone in 7 weeks. Vaughn is probably going to spend 2021 in the minors. In 2022 he and Abreu can spell one another at 1B with Vaughn getting most of the starts. Collins is probably trade bait.

Vaughn will be in the majors in 2021.

Vaughn also looks like a DH. Who do you keep?

Btw. what was the catch probability on that Eloy misplay?

Gotta be above 95%

Chipper Jones steam rolling the best pitcher in the game.

BEcause he made two bad plays in one little spring/summer session?

I doubt Vaughn spends more than the minimum in the minors next year.

Vaughn is not a DH. He is a better 1B than Abreu by a pretty good margin

That 3 year Abreu deal looks awesome now. We have like 9 DHs pretending to be position players and Vaughn coming up soon.

Hopefully we get one of those 9 to click.  What a novelty.

I despise the fact Hamilton takes minimum 30-45 seconds a fucking pitch.

Par for the course tonight. Watching Gio and Lindbloom nibble has been excruciating

Peralta is the guy to get.

What is you lookin at Robert???

Even with there being no games this year for him? That would seem like an upset to me, but we'll see

I think at least one of them will, likely Johnson or Hamilton.  A bit surprised Burdi was left off the initial summer camp invite list.  Clearly he has lost some stuff, but he was still throwing hard enough with two other above average pitches to be a decent middle relief option.  Not sure what to make of that situation.

Can they go on the road again?

How does Vaughn look like a DH?

All of the sudden they've forgotten how to hit.

They're home like ALL August ?

He looked like Frank at 1B during summer camp. Couldn't throw.

He’s fine

Well at least Milwaukee leaves town tonight so we don't have to watch the Sox struggle against a great set of pitchers for.. hmm.. let's see how long

*checks notes*

Ah fuck, here comes Cleveland

I've had enough of this shite. Playoff hockey time.

This is exactly why you actually don't want your team all hot simultaneously. Then they all go into a slump simultaneously as well.

Bye Felecia

With Parkman’s hot takes done for the night, the baseball gods shall let us score four runs and win this fucking game.

12 outs. 4 runs.

Lets do this.
