Everyone last week: Moncada clearly isn't right, take advantage of the off days and sit him against the Pirates and Royals so he can be ready for the Twins series. Ricky: He's fine, I know what I

Does anyone else find the pitch track thing a distraction that obscures the baseball?

bat path >>> barrel speed

Yolmer still sucks at hitting. confirmed.

I think the Sox know that EE's numbers aren't good; the reaction time is dead and he's inbetween on everything. Late on fastballs, but too quick on off-speed because he's cheating to get to the fastball, which is why we are hearing about Vaughn and his great results. The Sox are ready to move on but will respect the veteran a bit longer I imagine.

I forgot how much I hate watching Yolmer hit. For a guy with no power, he strikes out at an embarrassing rate.

He can’t be any worse than Mendick has been the last few games

Pretty crazy that Nick hasn't gotten a hit while ahead in the count this year.

oh, he can.

Damn Pineda is a whiner

Not great bob.

I really want Yolmer to stick. But in order to do that my man's gotta get consistently on base and bat at least .250 to keep a spot on this roster.

Lol as if we didn’t see his worst over the past half decade

Can Madrigal run in a straight line? It seems like everytime he’s running to first he’s so far inside the chalk it’s like he’s drunk or something.

Spread those wings baby

Yolmer a great guy who brought a great attitude to work every single day when shit was awful. He was also an elite defender; that player has a home on this roster, and is a great addition and mix. The Sox don't need to worry about maximizing every single run in the 9th spot every night.

Yolmer isn't a big leaguer really.  Sucks that that's where we are at, even as a depth option.

that is 100% on purpose.

Yup. Typical Minny clown move

this scoreboard watching is so dumb, just my opinion.  Just win and figure it out.  The seeding really doesn't matter that much.

he won a gold glove and is a utility player but he's not a big leaguer. this is an absurd take. he was considered the best defensive 2nd baseman in baseball and it wasn't because of his bat carrying his legacy.

Pineda might literally crap bigger than Madrigal.

Why does the first part matter at all? He was on a bad time while also playing bad baseball.

lol wut? Yolmer will be able to string together a 10 year career thanks to his glove. Most utility infielders are terrible hitters.

Why did Minnesota add gold to their color scheme? As if 3 colors wasn't enough, let's add gold in our hats and numbers/letters. Fucking stupid
