What is the damn rule with the netting? If it supposed to be like a wall, then how can that be called? If there wasn't a net there he wouldn't have fallen backwards into it.

Only thing I could think is he’s making a joke towards Eloy “falling” into the netting but c’mon man wtf

Cease has been aggravating...he’s young And has great stuff so he deserves some smack but I don’t want to wait five years for a pitching prospect to develop... like Carlis Rodon didn’t 

What I don’t understand is how the extra base is a rule? If it’s not there and he falls into the stands the runner can go if he wants, how has that ever been an automatic base in baseball?

The stuff just didn’t seem crisp tonight.  He wasn’t bad tonight, just struggled from the stretch. He also abandoned his Byrne way too early.

This five inning shit from our starters won’t cut it... Cease had a low pitch count and two outs in the fifth inning and only retires one of the next five batters before leaving
