I know Luis is only a rookie, but he mistimes all his jumps near the wall.  Eloy is bad at this, too.

Who are we going to pinch hit late in the game now that all our best hitters are in the starting lineup? Ricky does it again!

  • I literally said "In my opinion" - maybe I was right and RR got lucky. Maybe I was wrong and there is a reason I'm on my couch and RR is in a dugout. And FWIW, if we weren't having this conversation I

Yup, still a soxtalk game thread.

Dunning looks like crap and is falling behind every batter.  We are lucky that its still 1-1.  He needs to be on a short leash.

There is some truth to that. The twins are also lucky the sox only have 1run.

We sure are good at misplaying fly balls into inside the ballpark homers.

Not a good last few weeks for 88

Wow Kepler just missed that one.

Wow. Thought that was long gone

Ball must not be carrying cause these balls look like homers off the bat.

His defense is great outside a few issues near the wall. It’s definitely not overrated.

Twins lineup crying about the strike zone because of course

He Gone!

Their pitcher is getting a even bigger zone.

Had all day to find the wall.

Wasn’t it Robert who hit the ball that Buxton caught over the wall? Those two plays show who the better centerfielder is, though Robert is very good himself... but surprisingly not as good with plays at the wall.

Pantera’s punishment? Break out of his slump and hit a mammoth shot his next AB

Yup. They have no self awareness

He has the third highest WAR in AL this season mostly because his Defense while his offense has faltered. NOT overrated.

Throw your equipment around, Donaldson, you putz.

Hey at least Dunning doesn't have 60 pitches thru 3 innings like Cease last night.

Fuck the twins

He’s a rookie too. Give him time

I'll have to take a look at it again, but I thought that ball Buxton hit was so hard that Robert didn't really have enough time to get back there. Definitely catchable for a guy with his range, but not a catch an average CF makes regularly.

The wall is his kryptonite.
