He could literally go up there and not swing and work a 3 ball count every at-bat.

Could be. Not sure about that.

Looked it up and it’s not true. He just has regularly said AJ is “like a son” to him. That’s probably where I thought of it.

I don't get it. Why not just have Robert look for fastballs to hit? He's not getting off-speed pitches in the zone anyways. They're usually a foot off the plate.

Garbage player right now

WTF???

Why are they swinging at breaking balls up the 1B line?

Because Bauer is a master at making balls look like strikes.

Robert looks like Delmon Young currently

Roberts average in September is hard too do.

Robert struggling has be so hard to watch. Robert mashing was such a thing of beauty and will be a joy forever. ?

I would have believed it with the way Hawk talked about him.

They're not even close.

Because he’s been late on those also

Robert hasn't looked good since his 460 foot homer in KC.

Ok Manager of the Year, have a chat with your young phenom and help him start working his way back..

He’s so awful right now. It’s like he’s not even trying up there.

His defense has been lacking too...his throw to the wrong base allowed a runner to advance to second

He Gone

Such a weird game for Keuchel. He's for 6 Ks and no groundouts.

Dropped a fly ball the other day and almost missed one in the first inning tonight as well

I mean this should be the norm. You look fastball and it doesn't seem like he is. Even when he is getting fastballs he is not hitting them

It looks like a fastball out of his hand.  Ya know they don't have a lot of time to react.

Rookie struggles. The Sox have not had even one of their highly touted prospects come up and just consistently rake/shove.  Hopefully Vaughn or Crochet could be that guy.

If neither does then fuck then.

thought for sure they would have given him yesterday or today off

Yeah but it's not even starting in the zone.

What is it something like 0.4 seconds to react for a 95 mph fastball?

He Gone.  Nice quick inning!

Ok. Tell them and the rest of baseball that.

Eloy looked like crap for weeks at a time last year until he figured it out in the 2nd half. It happens, but in a short season like this things are magnified.
