Worried about being healthy?  Here’s what Ricky did tonight: Had Giolito throw 119 pitches in his last start before the playoffs Had Heuer pitch again after throwing two innings yesterd

Ruiz and Gio just pitched back to back the highest leverage innings of the season.  Did I already post this?  You can only laugh to keep from crying.

  • This was the 13th game in a row. Guys are tired and there are no opportunities to catch a breather, let some soreness work itself out, or have a day to clear your head by not going to the ballpark.  I

There is no way you let him go almost 120 pitches right before the postseason. They’ve treated the last week of games like exhibitions and now treating it like a World Series game.

He gets an extra day.  I really don't think it's that big a deal.

I'm getting sick and tired of this offense....score some f@#%ing runs now....this is bullshit.

Everybody was talking about accepting some losses after the clinch so we can set up our rotation for the playoffs. In what fucking universe does that mean letting one of our top 2 pitchers throw 119 pitches? I can’t believe Ricky’s a candidate for manager of the year.

Same one where you let Ruiz pitch in one of the biggest spots of the year against the hottest hitter on the planet.

6 days before first playoff game

They are clearly trying to stretch Lucas out to 150 pitches so in the playoffs they can count on him for complete games.

I’ve had it with this manager of ours. He doesn’t know how to use his pitchers and is so clueless on when to pull them when they are tired.

They sure got cute after clinching and now they can’t right the ship.   So he pushes Gio to a career high in pitches for what reason??

But hes good in the clubhouse!

Yeah, I don’t know why people are complaining about the pitch count. He gets an extra day of rest. It won’t be a factor.

Offense can’t even hit fastballs down the plate now. Someone has to step up or this team will be done a week from today.

It’s embarrassing for him that Abreu said they took the foot off the pedal

The opposite, you prepare a pitcher in the regular season, so that they are ready in the postseason. Ozzie or Ricky don’t wet their pants, let their pitchers work out of trouble. For the long term development of the pitcher.

plus he’s not going in four days, he’s going in six days.

Madrigal and abreu are the only two guys i have any faith in right now in this lineup.  Gotta move little nicky up to the 2 hole

Twins up 1-0 in the 3rd, let’s score some fucking runs and not chance losing the division tonight.

Why the hell is giolito still out there?

This was posted a full hour ago lol.

You can decide if that says more about Giolito, RR, or ChiSox1917,

I truly believe the Sox best chance of getting out of the first round is if they get 7th place

Good effort on offense, holy shit

Gonna be a quit exit next week at this rate

It was pretty obvious that they did.  I’m just happy they said it out loud.

That was fast

This is sad

If they’re the 7th seed?  If so, why do you think that?

Really need to shake this lineup up. Hit Robert 9th and let him go catch everything in the outfield, bat Madrigal 2nd, shoot Edwin into space, etc.
