Worried about being healthy?  Here’s what Ricky did tonight: Had Giolito throw 119 pitches in his last start before the playoffs Had Heuer pitch again after throwing two innings yesterd

Ruiz and Gio just pitched back to back the highest leverage innings of the season.  Did I already post this?  You can only laugh to keep from crying.

  • This was the 13th game in a row. Guys are tired and there are no opportunities to catch a breather, let some soreness work itself out, or have a day to clear your head by not going to the ballpark.  I

Yeah, I don’t know why people are complaining about the pitch count. He gets an extra day of rest. It won’t be a factor.

They're big strong dudes who train year round for this.  Let them pitch.

So have the Sox ?

If they’re the 7th seed?  If so, why do you think that?

The 4/5 against the Yankees would not go well. Yankees offense is so strong now and Cole would destroy our offense.  A 2/7 game against Indians would be brutal as well, as Sox can’t hit their pitching.

Really need to shake this lineup up. Hit Robert 9th and let him go catch everything in the outfield, bat Madrigal 2nd, shoot Edwin into space, etc.

Edwin has done way more than most people the past two games...

May be a real short playoff stay.

Pitching Crochet in back to back days a day after Ricky said he wasn’t sure if they would pitch him in back to days.  ?

My dude is in.  very nice.

Don't deserve the division anyway if you can't beat cleveland.

This was posted a full hour ago lol.

You can decide if that says more about Giolito, RR, or ChiSox1917,

He battled without his best stuff, but the velo drop still is concerning.  He got by the last 3 innings with his change and slider.  His fastball looked worse tonight than it has all year.

im pretty cautious with our ace in the last game of the season right before the playoffs. A pitcher whos usually 94-97 struggling to hit 93 for 2 innings and unable to throw a strike with the fastball is usually a warning sign something is wrong.  Hopefully in this case it wasnt.  But i dont like taking chances right before the playoffs start.

If this is the beginning of the end of Renteria-Cooper, in the long run it will be worth it.

True but I'm a fan of McCann in the lineup and the only way that happens is if Edwin sits.

Edit: unless of course Grandal is out like tonight.

You are out of your mind if you think anyone is losing their job after this year

It was a joke, thought it would be obvious

Stretching them out is what you do in the middle of the season.  Not their last start before the playoffs

I truly believe the Sox best chance of getting out of the first round is if they get 7th place

If they get 7th seed they are still in funk and go out easily.  I believe in momentum.

Dude is nasty as fuck
