You're right. Adding Darvish and Snell doesn't move the needle much.

This man may truly be cursed.

I feel bad for him, seems like that car accident in spring training a few years ago completely derailed his career

Hamilton is a good example of why young guys should think long and hard before turning down a fair extension offer.  Bad stuff can happen to anyone.

Psychologically probably isn’t the best feeling, but likely hasn’t made much impact on his life with it being the off-season. With Spring Training approaching hopefully he settles in somewhere, because this is where is can get disruptive.

He turned down an extension offer? Why was he even given an extension offer?

I was going to say, this is news to me too. Unless he just means in general (ESPECIALLY relievers).

I thought it was obvious... I was making a generalized statement that in my mind was referring to the recent comments concerning Vaughn, Gio, and Lynn.  Some felt Gio came from money and would hold out for the bigger payday.  Some felt that way about Moncada and Robert.  I think young players are smart to take a bird in the hand.  Anyone can have their career cut short in a moment.

I mean this is likely to be true based on what he has previously said.
