mad respect for them doing this. getting rid of the wahoo was the biggest thing, but glad to see this. I would like them to go with something that still respects a local or historical tribe...but I bet they tie into the rock n roll hall of fame some how. 

Maybe they'll take a stupid page out of the Minnesota Wild's book and call themselves the Cleveland Eerie or something

Spiders sounds too much like a AAA team name. A more appropriate name for them would be the Cleveland Pennies.

I loved their post-wahoo branding. That C is awesome. They should find a way to keep that during their new branding process...which may take over a year.

No because context matters. The Blackhawks isn't a pejorative and had the endorsement of actual native Americans.
