I think when hitters know that he's got that wicked curve in his pocket and it's back in his arsenal, we'll see fewer people able to just sit dead-red on him.

 

He did a great job of getting defensive swings with the breaking pitches. In all, he looked very good!

Whatever that was, it didn't work.

It looks like Katz has most our guys working lower on the vertical plane.  I have no idea if that is good or not but it seems to quite the difference from Cooper.

glad to see Cease's line and that curve...but that Cubs lineup is meh.
