  • Dane Dunning throws a complete game, losing after giving up only 1-hit. The only hit being a Nick Madrigal home run.

  • This has the opportunity to provide a gamethread of epic proportions.

  • I understand the joke, but even if Eloy is miraculously healthy, for the love of god do not play him in the game anywhere but DH. He'd go for an easy fly ball in left and we'd lose him in the Iowa cor

Got out of it, but like having Mike Hargrove on the mound...

Luis Robert owes Cease a homerun or something.

Cease stuff does play even without good command but at least he has to throw it somewhat close to the zone

Would love to see Cease alter his wind-up. He’s far too stiff

Yeah, it’s almost like he’s being too deliberate...just doesn’t look natural or comfortable.

We got lucky there but hopefully we can capitalize on the Rangers’ missed opportunity

2 different strike zones again

Watching Cease is maddening, because he does have nasty stuff, he just doesn't throw it anywhere even close to the zone half the time so you're left wondering how good he COULD be if he could do that.

what the hell was Cooper doing

I wonder if these pitchers are still getting used to Katz and still have coops philosophy in thier head

It’s like the two guys on the mound today are total opposites

Thing I've always hated about Adam. Long swings. Dude just make contact

Living off of 2005 and Chris Sale

Get ready for an epic thread everyone, its going to get ugly in here!

Well, we are up there, like we've never seen Dane Dunning at all, and are completely confused as to what is coming.

Aced by 90 and 91 mph fastballs...

Going to be a long night.

You ain't kidding

Yoan needs to be swinging out of his ass at a low fastball in the zone

What is Yoan looking for?
