Jose Abreu leaves game with injury

Featured Replies

Ran head first into Dozier on a pop fly, helped off of the field, status TBA.

The way this last week has been going, it is time to call up Gavin Sheets and have him tear the cover off the ball for a week or so.

Fuck Dozier!

Any chance he plays game 2 or is thatbout of the question? Knowing Abreu he will play if he can lol

They said day to day on the radio broadcast, so likely Saturday or Sunday would be his earliest return.

Keep him out for this series and get him healthy

I'm sure Ron will probably say Abreu is selfish or something.

One of my top 5 White Sox of all time.

Love Jose

when he cried after he found out he got the MVP... how he wanted to play game 2....

Jose truly just loves playing baseball - he probably will try to play when he is 50...

Hustle is great and all but that ball couldn't have come down more than 10 ft from home plate. If that's not the catcher's play then, apart from a pop-up behind HP, I'm not sure what is.

infield communication on popups is the worst I've seen in years for a sox team

That's pretty special. Surely Jose had a headache after the play. Wonder how he feels today. Fierce hit with no padding like in football.
