The royals have a awesome pitching staff all of a sudden!

Must be nice fading a split-squad caliber lineup

There's nothing that shows he made contact. And you guys sound like you need contacts.

I don't see how anyone with eyes could think he was out.  You have to find a contact point of the glove to the skin or jersey to say he was tagged. I saw none of that . No altered movement  of the glo

Contact ability not helping there...pitch way high and out of zone chopped right into the ground.  UGLY.

Sometimes it looks easy and sometimes it looks like a struggle.

Nick out machine in May

His leg kick is way too high right now.

And, by way of comparison, here is Madrigal's May so far (I didn't realize it was THIS bad).

We’re just fortunate not to be in the AL East...or West, for that matter.

Mercedes at least has a knack for adjusting his stride when he needs to make contact with two strikes.

It’s too bad the game gets in the way of Stone and Benetti’s comedy routine.

Benetti is almost bearable unless the Sox are going bad...then his act gets really grating.

Oh, great, more jokes about Stoney’s dinosaur status and not paying for anything when they go out.

Beauty, Cease.

If Cease has finally figured it out.....would be an absolutely enormous help to the long-term future of this club.

Stone is great when he’s talking baseball.

I just noticed this...the 1983 logo is next to their name on the score box on the TV broadcast.

See Stone, that right there was a lack of hustle to 1st.

Ooof.  I knew it was bad but that’s downright ugly.

Looks like the Twins are waking up just in time...but thankfully no Berrios again this next series.

Baltimore can’t get here fast enough.

Is that correct, Grandal only has nine hits on the season?  It’s mid freakin May!

Collins has more hits and Grandal has more than twice the PAs to put it in perspective.

I believe it was the first game at Cincinnati that I went to the ice cream to get the offense moving. No runs this inning and I’m going back to the freezer for ice cream.  Whatever the team needs.

Eaton 1 out walk.

Here is the month of May for the offense:

Player AVG	OBP	SLG	OPS

Tim Anderson	320	370	480	850
Adam Eaton	154	290	231	521
Yoan Moncada	267	389	356	744
Jose Abreu	333	429	692	1121
Yermin Mercedes	243	300	324	624
Yasmani Grandal	118	529	471	1000
Andrew Vaughn	237	340	447	788
Leruy Garcia	220	283	293	575
Nick Madrigal	196	196	217	413

Billy Hamilton	190	190	333	524
Jake Lamb	167	444	667	1111
Zack Collins	167	286	444	730
Danny Mendick	143	250	357	607

Benetti, are you even listening to Stone?  He just said because the sinker hurt his elbow.

Do you ever go outside and get some fresh air?
