5/23 White Sox vs Yankees

Partially because of the defense behind him...but loading the bases there really was no choice but to pull him.

The terrible call was using Ruiz down only one run, and PHing Leury for Hamilton and going against the splits...leaving a bad outfielder in late in a difficult stadium for subpar CFers.

Yes, if you want to test Ruiz in higher leverage situations do it against the Tigers, not the friggin Yankees.

White Sox undefeated in hypothetical future innings that never happened. Hooray for that omniscience?

  • Real contending outfield we have out there

The only good thing to come out of this game was Vaughn getting a shot of confidence taking out Chapman.

Torres’ series won’t soon be forgotten.

Indians down one going into the bottom of the ninth in CLE.  No Reyes.

Sox getting their asses handed to them in NY is hopefully a wake up call.

This game nor series is on Tony. Scoring 5 runs in a 3 game series against the new York Yankees is what is to blame.

Nice pick and throw Yoan!

Reyes is out 7 weeks I think.

There is zero right move with this bullpen right now.

1-4 since he practically destroyed the entire vibe around the team says otherwise.

Out on the left wrist.  Very clear.

Actually forearm, elbow.

Moncada’s arm touched him but did the glove?

Out!

TLR definitely shares a lot of blame. He's made a lot of poor decisions and non-decisions.

There are a lot of holes in the team if you look at it comprehensively. The differential numbers have been impressive, but like the Titanic, things can happen, and happen rather slowly but inexorably. The Sox are very lucky Minny blew a tire. Again, the playoffs will be a different monster, and this lineup has to hit and bullpen be lights out. Plus the manager, tight.

Twins pen trying to blow another one. 2 on, nobody out in the 9th for Jose Ramirez. 1 run twins lead.

Lmao. Larussa has made some real dumb moves this year but not even Connie Mack could win a series against the Yankees where his team scores 5 runs.

Bummer was drafted by Yankees in 2011 in the 31st round...instead opting to play for, you guessed it, Darin Erstad at Nebraska.

That's what doesn't make sense regarding some of the pitching decisions.  When we are struggling to score runs I don't want to see the bottom guys from our bullpen pitching when we are down a run.

He should get so much blame for creating the most unnecessary distraction.  You never hear players say they basically don’t listen to their manager.
