AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!

Ha they thought they had a chance to climb back into the division race and we fucking spiked it right in their face. Enjoy being 15 games back again.

Is it OK to admit the Twinkies are done NOW??

I never thought I'd be a Billy Hamilton fan, but I am a Billy Hamilton fan.

What a great sweep, especially off of the Twins beating the Indians in a series and seeming to gain some momentum. Lots of moments this could have gone south (and probably would have for past Sox teams) -- the Donaldson drama, the rough Rodon inning today, the Minnesota comeback in game 1...but we kept it together and ground our hated rivals into dust with half our lineup on the shelf.  Nothing to minimize about this one.  This was a good team kicking ass, pure and simple.

If not for the shitty pitch on Sunday it'd be 5 in and row and 6 in 7.

LFG

Sox are 8-1 against the Twins with a +39 differential.

Billy plays his ass off. And he has fun. You gotta have fun out there. I enjoy watching  him. Ozzie, for once, said something insightful on the post-game show. The Sox are getting unexpected contributions from unexpected sources. Billy is one of those guys. He has been a great addition to this team. No superstar, just a player who contributes in his own way. You're right, He has be used in the correct manner.

No. 2005 and 2006 taught us to enjoy every moment but to take nothing for granted. We aren't afraid of the Twins, but we want to continue smashing them into the Earth so that they know it's real.

Billy, Jake, Goodwin, and Sheets aren't perfect by any means, but collectively they've given us more than we could have asked. Collins and Grandal getting hot has been a great boost.

Every team, even good ones, have something like a 1-7 stretch.

But the good teams respond by going 4-0 and getting back on track.
