I think summerfest is over, FWIW the Milwaukee Zoo is outstanding. The historic THird Ward is worth checking out for a few beers. Gotta love those cheeseheads ! Of course they LOVE to take Flatlanders money

Soblemans on St. Paul.  Great Burgers.   Oscar's Pub and Grill.  Great Burgers. Vanguard, great sausages. Doc's Smokehouse, a cool BBQ joint. Mikey's is another cook BBQ place.

  • I used to work & live downtown MKE... Try the Broken Bat, they have mugs made out of wooden bats for purchase, it's pretty cool.... There's Cafe Benelux, and the Public Market is a nice spot,

We're doing a late lunch/early dinner at a place called Mader's. I've never been there but my parents love it.

A great old German restaurant.  I started going there maybe 60 years ago.  Highly recommend it.

Got tix for Sat game, does anyone know if the food vendors accept cash or just plastic?

I will be tailgating and in attendance Friday. Can't wait. First trip to a Brewers game since 2007, which is half a lifetime ago for me. Crazy.

The pitching matchups this weekend are World Series-worthy:

Giolito vs. Peralta

Rodon vs. Burnes

Lynn vs. Woodruff.

Let's go!

THings in Milwaukee are pretty close, I'd say 15 minutes or so.

Who?  Do you mean "the Guardians?"

I'll be there tomorrow. Staying overnight at the Tru downtown. Getting to Milwaukee around 10/11 and doing a mini bar crawl before the game.

Anyone know if parking at the stadium is  a easy process or should I not bother.

I'd love to know too. We have a pre-paid preferred pass.

It's easy enough.  They moved pretty fast getting everybody in.

Should be easy, it generally is.  It's such a great set-up there for pre-game.

Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the ballpark is cashless? I'm going to Nashville next Thursday-Sunday (shout out @Chicago White Sox) and I was planning on taking out cash for tomorrow and next weekend.

MKE Staff have it down pat... Just be sure to tip them a bit, it'll be hot & they don't get paid much for the job they do really well.

Nice!  Downtown Nashville and the surrounding neighborhoods are awesome!

From the buddies that have went to Miller this year, it's probably a 80/20 split card/cash
