Abreu has really struggled to lift the ball vs RHP this year. GB rate is like 55% vs them. Engel definitely should have been running.

He hit it hard, just right into the ground and right to Simmons. That ball had a .540 xBA.

At least we tied it, but getting really tired of leaving multiple runners stranded with 1 or no outs.

That was a dominant inning from Cease. It's turning into a good performance so far, all things considered.

Cease looking a lot better since the home run.

I would like to thank the poster that pointed how earlier how cease never seems to find his command in game.  that was the perfect reverse jinx.  and he never does, but tonight he has!

It's 3 years and $30 million. It's not good, but I don't think it kills them financially. I'm sure if he gave a shit and lost 40 lbs like Vlad Jr did he'd be good again.
