Totally understand not double switching your catcher but Tony could have easily put in Mendick at 2B for Garcia to double switch

This is one of the worst TLR managerial jobs of the season.

I think Tony wants to start pumping Kopech 7-8 since Heuer/Bummer aren’t owning it.  
 

See if the kid can dominate the late innings against a top team in national TV?  Love it.  Nothing to lose

I have no issue with leaving MK in for 8th because there is no one in the pen outside hendriks and MK, I  trust.

But why are we not double switching?

I guess they’re gonna roll Kopech out for the 8th.  Not showing a lot of faith in the rest of the bullpen.

Kopech didn't even look good that inning. I'm not sure why we have to go with him after he threw 25 pitches with 3 lefties coming up.
