Well, this group has picked a lane, which is more than I can ever say for GarPax.

  • This all just sucks. I had got some great tickets for tomorrow night for my son to celebrate his getting his second shot and he been watching so much bulls. He was literally counting down the days. Th

Personally, I think Drummond is possibly the most important part of this trade for the Nets.  Simmons on the court with the ball in his hands allows defenders to sag off to double Kyrie or KD, Simmons on court without the ball is basically a waste based on the last time we had seen them.  Defensively, it is great.

Drummond comes in and could easily double the amount of rebounds that KD (their 2nd highest rebounder after Harden) and do a lot of dirty work.

Kind of a bummer, but if a big becomes available on the buyout market, that's a win.

I wonder what they think about Coby long term. With Lavine, Ball, Caruso, and Ayo they can't possibly think about bringing him back can they? Sign and trade? I suppose you could keep around as an offensive spark, but that just depends on how over the cap they wanna go.

I'm baffled at the whole DJJ situation. Is he coming back earlier than expected since the injury was on his non-shooting hand? Cause if he's really out for another month and we're trying so hard to tread water and stay out of the play-in, why not just trade him as an expiring for somebody that can help now?

Good question. He doesn't carry bird rights correct? I think Billy really likes him and I can definitely see him back next year.

The more I read about Mike Muscala, I really hope he gets bought out and the bulls bring him in. He's one of the best 3 point shooting bigs in the league and he's actually a very solid defender. I was reading an article from a month ago about how he ranked 3rd in EPM(Expected Plus Minus) and the OKC defense when he was on the floor had the highest defensive rating in the league.

He's not quite like what the Bulls have had out there at the 4 this season, but I don't think that really matters as they had been looking at the guy from the Spurs and Millsap before that.

How about that leading scorer for the Pelicans tonight?  :)

Proud of Jose, he’s making the most of the two-way deal.

I hope Javonte Green is ok. The Bulls really can't afford to lose him. Especially after the game he put up tonight.

Seriously - he got hurt. Who would have guessed Lavine would have been the Bulls 6th leading scorer tonight.

Yeah I hope Javonte is ok. Dudes quitely playing some much better offensive basketball lately. He hadn't scored more than 15 points in a game all season, and he's had 4 such games in his last 8.

He's not a 4 though and I wonder if he becomes an even better all around piece if he's not forced to battle bigger players night in and night out.

Lots of good ball movement today. Real nice win.

They should probably sit LaVine tonight against OKC. I honestly wasn't a fan of Billy having him out there when the Bulls were up by 15+ with 3 minutes left.

I guess this is why they didn't trade him. He's back way earlier than the initial expectation.

LaVine is out tonight, but it's not because of his back. His knee is bothering him again. This might be something the Bulls will have to deal with all season.

Just sit him through the all-star break

Jones finger needs more time.  The was holding his hand every time he did something with the ball last night

I saw a tweet suggesting he was going to try to play through it.  He was in obvious pain yesterday but he was a big boost IMO.  I don’t know if it’s a comfort thing or what but I expected his fingers to be wrapped more than just the broken finger.

We’re going to lose Lavine for 6-8 weeks aren’t we

Let’s hope some rest through the all star break is just what the doctor ordered.

Bulls should be going after Bembry and Augustin. I doubt they can get Dragic once he's bought out. There's a lot of competition from better teams and situations where he'd get way more playing time. Once Caruso and Lonzo return, there would be no playing time for Dragic.

I’m definitely interested in Bembry.  Augustin wouldn’t be the worst replacement for Matt Thomas.  I’d take Eubanks as well.
