Evan Marshall nearing rehab stint

Featured Replies

Don't need him unless he beats Rodon back from the IL.  Keep him away from Tony or our record will suffer.

Kinda forgot about him to be honest....didn't mean the pun by the way but I'll take it.

Is he the Foster replacement?

Not sure he DOES fit, but I'm sure we'll make room anyhow.

Could be a guy that gets DFA'd after his rehab assignment.

Leury will replace Mendick when he returns.

Engel and Rodon will replace Wright and Burr when they return.

Marshall will have to demonstrate in his rebab that he's more valuable than Ruiz to get his spot back.

Foster is gone already isn't he?  Thought he was optioned down when Wright came up and all of those other moves happened

A healthy Evan Marshall is better than the bottom of our bullpen.  I would run him out there over Foster/Ruiz/Wright for sure.

yea you're right, thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea who Wright even was when he came in last night.  I'm a bad fan I often don't really follow the AAAA bullpen types that tend to get shuffled around in the dog days of summer.

I think 90 percent of Sox fans didn't know who Wright was when he came in last night ?

Step 1 is admitting you have a problem.

Step 2 is moving to Charlotte to keep a closer eye on these guys please.

I remember him pitching during Spring Training, but I didn't know where he came from.

I think he pitched the last televised ST game and got destroyed

Marshall when healthy is an MLB pitcher. IMO Jose Ruiz could also be one. Ruiz seems to be the healthier of the two. He'll

have to throw more strikes to stay in the majors.

Perhaps his rehab will extend over the next 12 days, so he can be added at roster expansion.

I'm not even putting Marshall ahead of Ruiz at this point.

I thought it was the first game
