I couldn't care less about lefty righty. 

Hernandez isn't good enough to be an every day guy on a team with aspirations the Sox have. 2B will still be a position to upgrade in the winter.

I prefer Escobar, but that seems like a lateral move. Maybe one of the SS would be willing to sign a 1 year pillow contract like Semien did with the Jays.

When is Engel back?  Goodwin in the regular lineup is not good.

I don't want to derail the thread, and I don't want to think about trading Madrigal for 3 months of a rental. That is too depressing for me to contemplate right now.

If Kimbrel isn't here then I definitely think that salary slot would be available, but maybe it's wishful thinking.
