that should show them he doesn't have to make a good pitch with the curve and still get guys out.  The fastball has to be perfect for him to get guys on it.

I gotta be honest, I think Grandal's pitch calling isn't that great and I would like him to work on this.  To be honest, I think this might be one area where Seby may even eclipse him.  McCann was definitely much better at that.

I don’t know what Grandal was doing that inning but they got through it. 

Garcia, Goodwin, and Cesar. Optimism is not high, but I would love a run.

He still makes me nervous but I'll take it...now score some runs.

I want to see the Sox do whatever to scratch out another run here.

Seby was awful with Kimbrel. He literally can’t catch the good curve, so he has no choice but to call the fastball if anyone is on base. Collins is better with that pitcher.

The Sox signed Tony's crony catcher guru, Jerry Narron, but all he has produced is fancy lineups for the umpire.

If anything, the catching / catcher development has regressed this season.

Our inability to score add on runs is frustrating. The Red Sox aren't really throwing their best guys out from their bullpen and we're not doing much against them.
