At this point, I am willing to consider that Yermin Mercedes would be a better playoff option at DH than Andrew Vaughn.  (Shudder.)

I imagine that not a lot of people will be watching the 12:10 Chicago at Cleveland game but instead will be watching the 12:00 Chicago at Cleveland game.

Really like to see Vaughn get going again.

Is Vaughn ever going to pull a fastball with authority again?  He doesn’t deserve to be on postseason roster at this rate.

He's being attacked with high fastballs ever since that game against Ober in Minnesota.

I’m going to chalk Vaughn’s struggles up by equating them to a sophomore slump… really can’t wait to see him get through this.

Hopefully it serves him well in the offseason and next year.

And he fouls off mediocre fastballs down the plate every game to the right side.  It seems like his swing has become so mechanical.

He's close to finishing with a sub .700 OPS.

That's going to be a very disappointing offensive rookie season.

Why is taking so long for Eloy to make adjustments on outside pitches?

Fortunately there’s still time to fix things before the playoffs, but there’s been no noticeable improvement for weeks now.

Because he stands too far off the plate and he’s been opening up too early on his swing basically all season

Yaz needs to hang onto that.

Good things happen when Leury goes opposite field.

I feel weird saying this but Leury is my starting 2B in the playoffs

And RF and DH

It was more of a rhetorical question I guess.

I get why it’s happening, but how is there zero improvement on something that keeps happening over and over?
