This was Lynn's first win since late July. I don't think he's had a win since the trade deadline.

Andrew Vaughn is unplayable right now full time. His playoff role should be DH against lefties and pinch hitter against lefties. Engel gets RF because is bat is decent now and he has elite defense wit

Lynn averaged 93 on his fastball last start and he's well above that tonight. I think this is the best and most comfortable he's looked on the mound in quite awhile.

  • But HFA wasn’t important enough to fight for.  Fuck me!

24 games over, finally

Great game for the Sox tonight. They are running on all cylinders.  Showed what they can do with the roster at full strength. Don’t stop now boys.

Len Kasper said it was the longest start streak of his career without a win. Which was shocking to me.

A's got out of the 8th, still up 2.

I wonder if it's Lynn or Gio in game 1?

I think Gio goes game 1. Lynn probably went today to give him some extra rest. Lucas is also very regimented so he may want exactly 4 days off between starts.

If you watch out of town baseball, it becomes evident pretty quickly how insanely deep the White Sox pitching staff & bullpen especially is.

The A's are going to Trivino for a 4 out save and he'd be like the 7th best reliever in the Sox pen.

If it's the same Lucas Giolito we saw in game 1 last postseason I'll be a very happy man.

The dream is alive for another night. A's win.

Best home record in the AL by far and we kept punting games.

As important as HFA is, and I want it.

It's even more important that this team is playing well going into the playoffs.

5 game win streak just at the right time. Would love to win out and go to the ALDS red hot.

You can probably make 2 bullpens out of our top 6 guys.

Bullpen 1: Bummer, Tepera, Hendriks

Bullpen 2: Crochet, Kopech, Kimbrel

He put two on but got out Altuve and Brantley who both pinched hit,, contrary to the Sox who never pinched hit with our resting stars.

Trivino doing his best "Alex Colome in a White Sox uniform" impression.

1-run losses are completely on the manager, just ask @Balta1701

Bullpen blew more than a couple for him in that span.
