Frank Thomas and Paulie Konerko also say hello.

Dick Allen guy isn’t bad either and the guy who was 72 MVP for the Sox could rake from the right side too.  ?

The board is like a contest between Caufield and Jack to see who can be the biggest shit poster.

This board has become full on insufferable. The White Sox not having a window beyond 2023 is 1 of the dumber things typed on the internet today

Mike Schmidt came up at same age as Vaughn, same number of at bats, lower first season OPS and he couldn't hit righties at all.   The Phillies were not stupid enough to trade him for some 30 year old

Meh. Assuming we get someone else I could care less that we missed out on him.

At least you care!

This is a good observation. It seems the Sox could have gotten something done easily in this so maybe it is about the money. I am deeply concerned about the rotation.

It's about the money?

Well shiver me timbers...

Well one list Reinsdorf won't be on is the Pro-Sports All-In Ownership Groups.

Billy Beane was waiting to abuse Kenny-Hahn yet again. Beane was going to demand the moon because he doesn't respect Kenny-Hahn.

Padres gave up nothing.

IMO should have overpaid for Manaea.

Should have overpaid for Rodon. And I was against it, but assumed the White Sox had their shit together.

Especially given what SD paid.

I wouldn't have been willing to guarantee 2 years for Rodon, but I sure would have given him the QO and rolled the dice with him if he accepted it (which I think he wouldn't have).

Why are the A's even a thing?

They're putting together the worst possible team so that attendance falls so low they can move the team to a more desirable locale.

Someone should make a movie about that.

Yeah, it’s starting to feel like a big miss.  With Pollock & McGuire in the fold, the positional side is pretty loaded with quality depth in AAA.

The core members of the pitching staff are great when healthy, but it only takes a couple of a big injuries to unravel that.  It’s amazing how much Manaea would help mitigate that.
