Sox are down to their last strike and instead of anticipatingly awaiting the climax of one of the best closers in baseball getting the last strike of the game, he's talking about where the first baseman is positioned. Yes, it was just the equivalent of a Red Sox home broadcast: how can “the Sox” (as that inane play by play person kept calling the Red Sox) come back and win this? That was their sole focus.
