Another freaking pop up for Sheets.  His swing path is horrible.

Burger should get a good amount of the reps at DH. Sheets isn't hitting at all.

engel and burger can stay

excited to see TA press like he always does in this situation despite the fact they'll pitch around him

Nice hitting Engel

I remember last year how he got so many beautiful hits the other way on high pitches he stayed on top of. Haven’t seen that once this season.

-500 on a ground ball to the left side of the infield here.

They'll pitch around Tim. Harrison is next

Burger and Engel at it again. This time Tim must come through.

fuck this team sideways, so predictable

Seriously Tim???

Woof

Going to bed. Have a good one guys

This is what happens when you have Harrison hitting behind TA. This loss is squarely on TLR.

TA turns into a completely different hitter in RISP situations. I don't get it. You'll almost never see him roll over something to lead-off a game or with no one on base.

Have a night TA

If TA is turtling here, might as well wrap this one up.

Another bad beat to a terrible team.

Fuck this offense and fuck LaRussa.

I’m shocked he pulled a grounder there

I don’t know if I’ve ever been this frustrated with a Sox team.

Harrison should be next guy DFA

TLR did not help him by hitting him second.  This is one time I would have liked to have Leury in the lineup instead of Harrison.

Pitchers were pounding him inside last year for a while cause all he could do was hit grounders on inside pitches. Then he made a change against the Cubs that finally allowed him to hit the ball in the air on inside pitches.

Burger should be the starting 3B until/if he shows he can't stick.  Moncada moves over to plug the long standing hole at 2B.

Matt Foster still warming. He might never pitch in this game lol.

I remember that, too. From what I recall he struggled for like a week and then fixed whatever the issue was. I'm sure he'll do it again, the strange thing is if teams found a spot to attack him then why wouldn't they do it all of the time?

man, you could argue that this team is going to be 22-23 in spite of la russa

Tim needs to go opposite field more, keeps pulling the ball on the ground. Be more patient at the plate, look for a ball he can crush.
