Starters are more valuable.  Do everything you can to keep them as a starter Ala Crochet.

He should have been moved to the bullpen in 2020. It was clear by then that he didn't have it as a starter. Was only 60 games though.

Tony actually using his best reliever/closer against the other team's best hitters? I didn't think I'd actually see that.

Imagine the extra value they could get use Hendriks that way, too. oh well.

You disagree that the minor leagues is where kids should learn how to play basic defense?

Pass.

Maybe he disagreed that a guy who was leading the team in HR on a team starved for more power and in around 100 AB's less than the people close to him on the Sox in HR's probably should have a place in the lineup.

Remember how you stuck up for Vaughn last year when he sucked. Try applying that to Burger when he hasn't exactly sucked. He can learn a lot from Vaughn about hitting up here.

Make up call

Make up call there

Forgot Foster on the bereavement list.

Plan to close here with Graveman and tmrw with Kelly.

Another great frame

Toronto complaining more about these calls than the Sox did about Lynn's missed strike.

Yep. Unless they score more in the 8th.

Stone has been carrying even more water than usual on broadcasts lately. How is the Sox winning 2 of 3 in NY relevant to anything right now?

Burger getting repetitions at the big league level has to be the priority with Moncada so iffy.

Jeez, that’s so lazy by Robert

We're so nonchalant about getting the ball in. There's no way he should be on 2nd base.

Inexcusable for Hernandez to end up at 2b there

Hernandez is sitting on the 2 strike slider

I’m confused as to how their power hitter can run so hard and not get hurt

Maybe but again you do everything you can to try to keep them as starters. Always go to long than move them too soon.

This team is so bad at everything on the margins. Giving out free bases like it's nothing.

Lazy Sox players team full of them

Gotta make sure it's not hittable against him. He has good plate coverage.

can we get that low strike for the rest of the year

Luis can be really lazy out there.  Definitely needs to be addressed.

Robert had to run 45 yards and didn't see Hernandez going for second from the get go.  Too non character.

He should know his own countrymen's style of play.
