They are hitting too many ground balls in general, not really a situational thing

  • His defense fits right in with the rest of the team.

Maybe if Mercedes was a better framer . . .

Yoan might have gotten a hit with a guy on 3rd yesterday...but he still has issues in those situations.

Pederson kicked that Sheets double around a bit too. Sheets is Pederson's kryptonite.

Lol this dude lost the count

Lmao

I'm not sure about that. Career 118 wRC+ in RISP situations seems pretty good to me. That is well above the league average this year, for example.

Guy on 3rd and nobody out and of course we don't score him. Oh well guess you can't be too mad with it being 6-0.

This game sucks!!

Gavin is the solution to our bases loaded problem apparently.

He went the other way.  Our other guys failing with bases load have been righties pulling the ball on the ground and not going the other way.  TA has been called out on this a couple of times ar least.

The Giants defense has sucked this whole series.

We have been unable to hit the ball up in the air for sacrifice flys at least.

It's not RISP alone that's the issue. It's a team wide problem with getting guys in from 3rd and less than 2 outs. Their approach in these situations suck. They end up hitting a lot of grounders right into the drawn in infield.

Yoan's been bad in all situations this year. But 6 PA's or whatever obviously isn't enough to draw any conclusions from in any direction.

Might want to get the pen up. Lucas at nearly 90 pitches.

Impossible not to watch Joc mash RHP without wishing he was on the Sox instead

What an incredible catch by Big Energy!!!

Man if only Harrison could hit a little..

I'm pretty sure that's a homer in every other MLB stadium.

Hopefully that kills all their momentum

Great start from Lucas. He's still a really good pitcher.
