They are hitting too many ground balls in general, not really a situational thing

  • His defense fits right in with the rest of the team.

Maybe if Mercedes was a better framer . . .

Great start from Lucas. He's still a really good pitcher.

Hopefully that bad stretch is behind him.

Been a nice series for both Josh Harrison and Gavin Sheets.

Sheets looking decent against lefties today.

The final 2 & 1/2 innings of this game being stress free would be nice. I'm assuming Lucas is done, so hopefully the pen can hold it down.

It's not RISP alone that's the issue. It's a team wide problem with getting guys in from 3rd and less than 2 outs. Their approach in these situations suck. They end up hitting a lot of grounders right into the drawn in infield.

Our supposedly better hitters do much worse than the scrubs.  Looks like our better hitters are being impatient and trying to hit the ball out of the ball park, pulling the ball.

Matt Foster!!

Isn’t ReyLo available?

I'd try to get through this game without using him. TLR probably still will, but using Velasquez would make more sense to me. Try to have Lopez fresh for the Twins series would be my preference.

Or pitchers look at some of our scrubs and pound it right at them.

Look at Seby!

Seby just rakes now, huh

Great job by the bottom 3 in the order.

Seby comes through and drives in another run.

TA trying to pull the ball to the moon.

I agree.  You have a point.

If the Sox add another run or two here, use Lambert.

good call. He's probably the pitcher going down for Hendriks anyways.
