Not really. This game sucked and this team isn’t very good. But they’re 2 games back heading into today and probably 1.5 GB tomorrow morning. The season isn’t over.

Is it just my imagination but since TLR was caught sleeping they never show the Sox dugout anymore

He’s sleeping. He just goes in the clubhouse, rests his eyes and comes back to the dugout. Lol

Horrendous season by nearly everyone:

Front office embarrassed itself in the offseason.

TLR has been a disaster with lineups, playing time allocations, in game strategy, bullpen usage

coaching staff (with exception of Katz) has done nothing positive.  Runners thrown out at home, no hitting adjustments.

training staff?? Lol  almost everyone has had at least 1 IL stint.  Bad luck, etc whatever it is

Players with awful seasons:  Pollock, Moncada, Leury, Grandal, Giolito, Lynn, Kelly, Sheets

They do not deserve to be rewarded with a playoff appearance and the ability to run it back again using that as an excuse.

For what?  Grandal Pollock Kelly Leury Moncada can't be moved either.

JR won't eat that money until at least two months of 2023 are gone.

Dodgers would take Lynn, Liam, Timmy (f they aren't signing a $35M SS this offseason) and say Grandal and/or Pollock. Would be a clean slate if you had a new competent GM and Manager. Otherwise, shoot for 2024 when the old guys are off the books.

The amount of bad money on the books for next year is ridiculous.  Hahn couldn’t have screwed this up more.

"Money Ball 2....A Seat At The Table" starring Hugh Jackman as Rick Hahn with a special appearances by Matthew McConaughey as Scott Boras and Jack Black as The Big Bastard.

El Rockin has already thrown in the towel.

If you watch enough baseball you can just sense whether a team at this point in the season has a run left in them or not.

They have one of the best catchers in baseball in Will Smith, the deepest rotation and no need for Pollock to return when they can get 800ish ops production from Gavin Lux for under a million.

Friedman is smart smart smart.

The only mistakes Dodgers have made were occasional prospect trades.

Carl Crawford Adrian Gonzalez Era is over.

Oh, they would be eating / DFAing Pollock and or Grandal (or keep in a reserve role). Tim and Liam on reasonable deals are solid options, and Lynn is a useful 4-5 130+ innings eater at this point.
