That's only because they are a small market.  They never really get credit for being a solid organization.

I will be, they will be huge underdogs. I cant stand how everyone makes fun of the AL central every year, even though its warranted.

Going to be tough against SEA or Toronto.   TB seems the best possible matchup.

Compare Sox Guardians playoff appearances since the mid 90s.

Or even since 2013...

Imagine if we had a manager like Terry Francona

Sure but have to respect a team with a bottom five payroll having the fifth best farm system (trading away at the deadline in order to keep building for 2023-25) and using the most rookies of any team in baseball while hardly missing a single beat…

Would have been so easy to deal Ramirez and Bieber.

Greetings from Vienna Austria

Leaving China, or just a vacation?

Can't imagine being in China the past three years.

Or imagine the Sox had one that would hire a quality front office.

Trying to get back after one month with mom after she nearly died, which isn’t completely unexpected at age 93 (kidney failure and sepsis, thankfully under hospice care next six months which is an amazing program)…in the face of a bureaucratic wall.  Next up Bangkok Taiwan Macau.  A week in quarantine at least nice weather outside.

Have spent $380 $150 and $40 on Covid testing on this trip alone after maybe $40-50 over three years in China.

Just one big money grab.  Now I have four vaccines in me along with a flu shot.

The White Sox have the least amount of AL Division Titles among the eleven franchises that have played in all years since the inception of divisional play.

Houston, Tampa Bay and Toronto have a much better percentage of title seasons than the Sox, leaving expansion teams Seattle and The Departed (Milwaukee) as the two American League teams less successful on an annual basis of winning American League Division Titles.

American League Divisional Titles:

52 Seasons:

  1. New York (19) - 2022 Pending
  2. Oakland (17)
  3. Minnesota (12)
  4. Cleveland (10) - 2022 Pending
  5. Boston (10)
  6. Baltimore (9)
  7. Los Angeles (9)
  8. Detroit (7)
  9. Kansas City (7)
  10. Texas (7)
  11. Chicago (6)

45 Seasons: Toronto (6) & Seattle (3).

29 Seasons: Milwaukee (1).

24 Seasons: Tampa Bay (4).

9 Seasons: Houston (4). - 2022 Pending

A. L. East (1969-1993) 25 Seasons: Baltimore (7), Toronto (5), New York (5), Boston (4), Detroit (3), Milwaukee (1), Cleveland (0).

A. L. West (1969 - 1993) 25 Seasons: Oakland (10), Kansas City (6), Minnesota (4), Los Angeles (3), Chicago (2), Texas (0), Seattle (0).

A. L. East (1995 - 2021) 27 Seasons: New York (14), Boston (6), Tampa Bay (4), Baltimore (2), Toronto (1).

A. L. Central (1995 - 2021) 27 Seasons: Cleveland (10), Minnesota (8), Detroit (4), Chicago (4), Kansas City (1).

A. L. West (1995 - 2021) 27 Seasons: Texas (7), Oakland (7), Los Angeles (6), Houston (4), Seattle (3).

Sorry to hear about your mother and dealing with bureaucrats and endless corporate grifting.

Cleveland up 4-0 and Pilkington is no hitting the Twins in the 6th. Lol

I blame the new Sox rally cry

Twins have life. 5-2 1st and 3rd, nobody out in the 8th.

I hate this Sox team so much I just want Cleveland to put them out of their misery.

5-5!!!

Karinchak pitching in the 8th and the announcers said Clase is unavailable in this game. Let's hope Minnesota can take advantage.

Real suspect why they used Clase in a 4-run game today.

Kwan is a fighter out there. Quintessential Guardian.

This would be the eighth time in season CLE beats Minn in final at bat.
